With in this role, this person is responsible to ensure data integrity across all systems. Develop and enforce product data standards and procedures. The will also provide up to date cross reference data in an effective and efficient manner and assist store associates in being battery and bulb experts to help their customers.
Duties:Data Integrity & Analysis
• Work interdepartmentally to maintain, gather, and analyze reports/information from systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across the business.
• Ensure accurate and resourceful integration of up-to-date information throughout all data systems by enforcing data standards and rules.
• Accurately enter alpha-numeric product data (UPCs, item/vendor item numbers, costs, product descriptions, attributes, etc.) and other data, following strict data integrity standards.
• Communicate interdepartmentally to understand company process, and to determine best practices, standards, and procedures for maintaining data.

• Provide weekly updates of task and project status and monthly reports of project development.
• Assist in developing, enhancing, testing, and implementing of system functionality.

Product Research
• Complete full category scrubs in a regular rotation, using Vendor cross references, Internet leads, and other forms of media to research new and verify existing product data is accurate.
• Research models with solutions, battery crosses, and OEM battery information into the electronic cross-reference system.
• Research approved and non-approved vendor updates.

Customer Support
• Engage in courtesy calls/emails to Franchise store locations to encourage feedback, gather content and functionality advice, increase credibility, and solidify relations.
• Provide customer support for stores and obtain information on store specific parts, investigate the use of unapproved items or make them aware of active items.
• Answer customer calls, emails and system submissions.
• Review and update training modules.
• Occasional travel to corporate store locations.
Qualifications:• Minimum high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor degree in a Business related field preferred.
• At least one year of Batteries Plus work experience to include knowledge of product, and a solid cross functional understanding of all internal integrating data systems and data uses is helpful but not required.
• Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software, especially Microsoft products.
• Demonstrated ability to use internet and intranet systems to research/locate solutions.
• Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of how data management procedures affect business operations and use that knowledge to provide solutions and make decisions.
• Requires the use of judgment in the analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems or transactions and in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
• Good listening, verbal and written communication skills with ability to be effective interdepartmentally.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work as a member of cross-functional business teams, as well as being a self-starter and independent worker.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects.
