Description:With in this role, you are responsible for conception, original content development and creative writing for all web properties.

• Author original content for use across on-line platforms including; website(s), social media, blogs, etc. to stimulate user interaction, discussion and engagement
• Create social marketing messages, real-time/spontaneous social engagement, blogs, email and other digital formats related to social efforts.
• Create content strategies and recommendations based on in-market trends and campaign performance
• Respond and react to changes within on-line trends, functionality and methods of engagement
• Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends
• Proofread and edit communications to ensure information accuracy
• Develop & document procedures to manage content

Planning and Analysis
• Monitor social media outlets and respond on topics related to company/industry. Develop effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
• Monitor and present relevant data, trends, successes, and exceptions. Respond and react to changes within on-line trends, functionality and methods of engagement
• Plan and implement web marketing campaigns to achieve marketing goals
• Measure and monitor effective benchmarks to determine impact of social media programs
• Analyze, review, and report on campaign effectiveness to maximize results

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, English, Creative Copywriting, Journalism or equivalent, relevant experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience writing on behalf of brands; experience should include work in the social media genre. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills a must. Technical writing experience preferred
• Must be passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends
• Strong personal portfolio of creative writing that demonstrates originality, innovation, problem-solving, and personal expression
• Ability to organize multiple layers of copy and maintain consistency in voice, brand and site architecture
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HTML and social media tools with the ability and desire to learn new computer systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web content best practices, browser functionality, search engine optimization, usability, and accessibility
• Ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment and cross functionally between departments and with all levels of the organization. Ability to take ownership of a project and lead a project team to desired results; project management experience desirable
• Well organized with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail and accuracy. Able to meet deadlines and produce high quality work for multiple tasks and projects in a fast paced, changing environment
• Must be an independent problem solver; able to use judgment to recommend changes to existing methods and make decisions guided by policy and precedent
